Eligibility

  • Passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics/Statistics as mandatory subjects.
  • Secured pass marks in Math/Statistics and should have proficiency in english language.

About Program

The Department of Mathematics offers two undergraduate programs in Statistics, namely, Bachelor of Science (BSc) Statistics – a three-year program, and BSc (Hons)/ BSc (Hons) with Research in Statistics– a four-year program.

The main emphasis of this programme is to provide students with a solid foundation in the theory and practice of statistics. Some of the highlights of this program include:

Merit Scholarship on the basis of percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in XII Std.
Greater than or equal to 90% 30%

The Merit Scholarship is applicable for 1st year only, for subsequent years please refer to Merit based policy for subsequent/continuing years in the Scholarship Policy

Notes

  • Online Registration is Mandatory.
  • In addition to above Fee, Rs.10,000/- Admission Fee (Non-Refundable) and Rs. 5,000 Caution Money (Refundable) will be charged at the time of admission.
  • All the above Scholarships are applicable only on the Program Tuition Fee.
  • Only one type of scholarship can be given, students can opt for the higher %age of scholarship.
  • Scholarship cannot be more than 100% of Tuition fee.
