    Dr. Charu Sharma joined the department of physiotherapy (College of Healthcare Professions) as an Programme Coordinator and Assisstant Professor 2 in July 2023.Dr. Charu has more than 15 years of experience in academics,research and clinical as well with a reputed ,Swami Rama Himalayan University,Dehradun. She has done her Masters Degree from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna ,Garhwal University in 2007 and completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2004 from Sardar Bhagwan Singh University,Dehradun . Her area of interest is Neurological Rehabilitation. Her researches mainly focuses on Physiotherapy treatment of Dysphagia in Stroke patients and Physiotherapy management of Spinal Cord Injury patients.She has supervised so many UG and PG students in their research work through out her carrier and published 4-5 research works in Indian and International journals.She was the State Coordinator of Uttarakhand Indian Association of Physiothetrapy (Women Cell) and organised so many workshops and conferences . She is registered member of IAP .She has been invited as a guest speaker and external examiner in various colleges.

    • Passed the National Service Scheme “B” certificate examination held in 2013 under provision of Government order no. 319/XXIV(9)/NSS/76(06) dated 19 March, 2008 and related Government orders of National Service Scheme Cell, Government of Uttarakhand.
      Successfully completed BNCRP (Part- 1) provider course of IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics)-NNF (National Neonatology Forum) Neonatal Resuscitation Program Project held on 22/11/2014 at Himalayan College of Nursing, SRHU, Dehradun.
      Participated as organizer in workshop on Disaster Management: “Let’s act now, So We Don’t Pay Later”, organized by Himalayan College of Nursing, SRHU in collaboration with State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Uttarakhand held on June 2, 2016.
      Participated in “Workshop for Nursing Students on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment” to strengthen capacity for nursing training on AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria (GFATM) round-7, conducted by Himalayan College of Nursing, SRHU, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
