  Dr. Swati joined the Department of Pharmaceutical & Population Health Informatics as an Assistant Professor III on 1 April 2022. She was awarded her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kumaun University Nainital. She got a silver medalist in M. Pharm and also qualified for GPAT in 2015. Her research interests center on the chemical characterization of herbal products and their plant ingredients, as well as the pharmacological and toxicological evaluation of herbal products. She also worked as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow at Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER), DRDO, Haldwani. Before joining DIT, she worked as Assistant Professor at K.R. Mangalam University, Gurgaon. She has more than 9 publications in National and International journals.
