Prof. (Dr). R. Babu is an outstanding Academician, Clinician and an excellent Administrator with over 20 years of rich experience in the field of nursing profession. He graduated his B.Sc. Nursing at PSG College of Nursing Coimbatore from Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu in the year 1999.
Dr. Babu completed his M.Sc. Nursing with specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing with Cardiothoracic Super speciality from Sri Ramachandra Deemed University Chennai in 2004.
He completed his Ph.D in Nursing (Cancer Nursing field) from IGNOU –New Delhi in the year 2019.
He has a total experience of more than 20 years in Academics, Clinical, Research, and Administration. During his professional journey, he has worked at various positions like Professor, HOD, Vice Principal & Principal in various institutions. He has worked as a team inspector at various institutions like Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences Karnataka, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avad University Ayodhya, UP etc. He further holds the position of Curriculum Committee Member, Senate member, in various universities. He has been appointed at various positions like Member, Board of Education, Member, Board of Governing council and Board of Ethical Clearance Committee in various Universities.
He is an approved Ph.D examiner and Nursing guide in JJTU, University Rajasthan, & Manipur International University, Manipur.
Also contributed as a Co-guide in various universities across India for Ph.D nursing Students. He has also written Books for General Duty assistance in IGNOU, New Delhi. He is a resource person & Guest speaker in Various Nursing universities in India, he has 30 presentations at state and national levels.
